Our roots in this region reach back to 1936, when Howard S. Rinker purchased a Cuba, New York, service station and founded the Rinker Oil Company. Howard delivered heating oil, gasoline, and diesel to homes and local farms. Within 20 years, he’d acquired a second location and a 350,000-gallon storage plant.
In the 1970s, Howard’s son Tim came on at Rinker Oil, and the following decade Bill Bradley — who had worked summers at Rinker’s service station in high school — joined as a bookkeeper. Today, Bill is Rinker Oil & Propane’s general manager.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our business to serve more customers in Southwestern New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania. We’ve also expanded into equipment installation and propane delivery. But we’ve never lost sight of where we started. Our customers are our neighbors — we’ll always be there when you call.
